Lee Banville sat down with Dr, Berger to discuss the role of women in game-based learning. In the past, gaming was predominantly male oriented in the sector of development, and most women had little interest in entering the overly male driven culture. In recent years, however, early childhood education and more specifically, game-based learning, has opened the door for women to make their imprint. Banville believes that in the not so distant future, women will play an equal role in both gaming jobs and game development.
